Iran has launched significantly more drones and missiles at Gulf countries than at Israel since the outbreak of hostilities, according to a report by the Critical Threats Project.

The study found that Tehran fired about 255 drones and missiles toward Israel since February 28. In contrast, more than 2,100 projectiles were reportedly directed at Gulf states during the same period.

The United Arab Emirates was the most heavily targeted, with more than 1,100 attacks recorded.

Analysts say the pattern suggests Iran is seeking to pressure regional governments hosting U.S. military bases and encourage them to push Washington to end the conflict.

However, Gulf states have warned Tehran that continued attacks could trigger collective defensive measures.
