A National Football Team’s friendly match against Italy was played at Renato Dall Ara Stadium. Sebastian Gishamer from the Austrian Football Federation directed the match. Sebastian Gishamer was assisted by Andreas Heidenreich and Santino Schreiner. A National Football Team took the field with the starting 11 of “Altay Bayındır, Zeki Çelik, Abdülkerim Bardakcı, Ozan Kabak, Mert Müldür, Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Kaan Ayhan, Oğuz Aydın, Yusuf Yazıcı, Barış Alper Yılmaz, Kenan Yıldız”. Italy, on the other hand, took the field with the lineup of “Vicario, Di Lorenzo, Mancini, Bastoni, Dimarco, Cristante, Jorginho, Orsolini, Pellegrini, Chiesa, Retegui”.

The first half of the match, which started in a balanced manner, ended in a 0-0 draw. There was no goal in the second half of the match and it ended 0-0.

National footballer Ozan Kabak could not continue the game due to a knee problem after a double challenge with Retegui. In the 42nd minute of the match, Merih Demiral came into the game instead of Ozan Kabak, who came to the sidelines on a stretcher.

SEMIH KILIÇSOY AND OĞUZ AYDIN WORE THE NATIONAL JERSEY FOR THE FIRST TIME

Beşiktaş footballer Semih Kılıçsoy and Alanyaspor’s Oğuz Aydın wore the national jersey for the first time against Italy. Oğuz Aydın started the match in the starting 11 and was replaced by Abdulkadir Ömür in the 46th minute. Semih Kılıçsoy came on for Barış Alper Yılmaz in the 82nd minute.

Vincenzo Montella wore the Italy national football team shirt for the first time on June 5, 1999 against Wales at the Renato Dall Ara Stadium. 25 years later, in the same stadium, Montella took on his country Italy as the Technical Director of the A National Football Team.
