The roof of the airport in the capital of India collapsed due to heavy rain. Local media stated that the roof collapsed due to the rains that continued throughout the week and stated that one person lost his life and 4 people were injured in the incident.
The roof of Terminal-1 (T1) at Delhi Airport collapsed this morning due to heavy rain, officials announced today. According to local media reports, one person died and 4 people were injured as a result of the accident.

Emergency crews are treating those injured in the incident. The Ministry of Civil Aviation stated that all departures from Terminal 1, where only domestic flight operations are carried out, have been temporarily suspended. Indigo and Spicejet Airlines canceled their flights.
The latest statement from Delhi Airport said, “All flights to and from Terminal 3 and Terminal 2 are fully operational. Flights at Terminal 1 Arrival Point are also operating.
However, flights departing from Terminal 1 have been canceled until 2 p.m. (local time) today.”
