In Gazipaşa district, National Real Estate chief A.Ö. and survey engineer A.U. were detained within the scope of a ‘bribery’ investigation into allegations of demanding money from citizens regarding the leasing and sale of treasury lands.
The investigation initiated by the Alanya Anti-Smuggling and Organized Crime Bureau Office under the coordination of Gazipaşa Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office is based on allegations of bribery in the process of renting and selling treasury lands. As a result of the work carried out and evidence collected within the scope of the investigation, National Real Estate chief A.Ö. and survey engineer A.U. were reportedly detained.
Officials stated that work is ongoing to clarify the details of the incident and to clarify the accusations. The process of examining the evidence obtained within the scope of the investigation and taking statements of the suspects continues.
