In Sultanbeyli, a man was attacked with a cleaver by two brothers of his wife while walking on the street. The person who was hospitalized with serious injuries lost his life.
While Birkavi, who was hospitalized with severe injuries, lost his life, 2 foreign nationals who carried out the attack were detained. The moments of the incident were reflected on a cell phone camera.
The incident occurred around 14.00 on Sakarya Street, Abdurrahmangazi Neighborhood. Allegedly, while foreign national Hüseyin Birkavi was walking, an argument broke out between his wife’s brothers M.Ç. and A.Ç., who came to him in a car.
While the incident turned into a fight in a short time, Hüseyin Birkavi was seriously injured by the cleaver blows he received. Police and paramedics were dispatched to the scene upon notification. Birkavi, whose first intervention was made by paramedics at the scene, was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Birkavi died despite all interventions, while M.Ç. and A.Ç. were detained by police teams. The moments of the incident were recorded by citizens with a cell phone camera.
