Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei has vowed strong retaliation following a deadly attack on the Shajareh Tayyebeh school in Minab, which reportedly killed more than 165 people, including many children, during the early hours of the conflict.

In a televised address, Khamenei said Iran would not refrain from avenging the victims, stressing that every citizen killed in the conflict would be considered a separate case in the country’s pursuit of justice.

He also stated that only a limited portion of Iran’s retaliation has been carried out so far, suggesting that further responses could follow as the war continues.

The Iranian leader additionally warned Gulf countries hosting US military bases, urging them to close the facilities. According to him, the security guarantees provided by the United States are “nothing but a lie.”
