The second day session of the NATO Defense Ministers Meeting in Brussels, the capital of Belgium, started.
NATO Defense Ministers Meeting continues on its second day. Turkey is represented by Yaşar Güler, Minister of National Defense, at the meeting held at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. In the meeting hall, Minister Guler had a brief chat with his US counterpart Lloyd Austin. In his opening remarks, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said, “Our morning session will focus on our deterrence and defense agenda as we prepare for next month’s NATO Leaders’ Summit in Washington, DC. We will discuss our progress in ensuring that our defense plans are robust and ready for implementation.
We will discuss defense industrial production to ensure that critical needs are met, both for our own defense and to continue to support Ukraine. We will also finalize the NATO security assistance and training plan for Ukraine.”
