Türkiye will continue to pursue its foreign policy objectives with determination and confidence, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said following the conclusion of the 16th Ambassadors Conference held in Ankara.

In a statement shared on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal, Fidan emphasized that the conference, which took place from Dec. 15 to 19 under the theme “Foreign Policy Promoting Peace, Stability, and Prosperity,” provided a comprehensive platform to evaluate Türkiye’s diplomatic priorities and future roadmap.

According to Fidan, the meeting centered largely on internal assessments within the Foreign Ministry, in-depth consultations on regional and global developments, and deliberations on concrete steps to be taken in the coming period. He underlined that the discussions reflected Türkiye’s multidimensional approach to diplomacy in an increasingly complex international environment.

The conference agenda covered a broad spectrum of topics, including economic diplomacy, defense and security policies, multilateral cooperation, digital transformation, mediation initiatives, regional connectivity, energy security, environmental challenges, migration management, and visa-related practices. These sessions aimed to align Türkiye’s diplomatic missions with evolving global dynamics and national strategic interests.

Fidan also highlighted the active role of Türkiye’s ambassadors, noting that their on-the-ground experiences and insights were directly reflected in the discussions. He said the conference offered an important opportunity to hear firsthand assessments and recommendations from diplomats serving in different regions of the world.

Stressing the importance of institutional continuity, Fidan said Türkiye’s future diplomatic efforts will continue to draw strength from its long-established diplomatic tradition. He added that the outcomes of the conference will serve as a guiding framework for advancing the country’s foreign policy goals in line with principles of peace, stability, and prosperity.

“With the contributions of our ambassadors and the evaluations made during the conference, we will continue our work with resolve to achieve the objectives we have set,” Fidan said, signaling sustained momentum in Türkiye’s diplomatic engagement on the global stage.
