The U.S. Embassy in Israel has told its staff they may leave the country immediately as tensions rise over a potential U.S. strike on Iran.

U.S. Ambassador Mike Huckabee sent an email Friday authorizing departures for employees who wish to leave. He urged staff to act quickly, noting that while flights may be available in the coming days, they could be limited. The message emphasized there is no need for panic but encouraged those who want to depart to make arrangements immediately.

The advisory follows the collapse of nuclear negotiations between the U.S. and Iran. Airlines, including KLM, have already announced suspensions of flights from Tel Aviv Ben Gurion International Airport. Other embassies in Israel and neighboring countries have also begun planning authorized departures.
