Air France has announced its intention to resume flights to Mali, Burkina Faso, and Niger, despite the ongoing political tensions between France and the Sahel Alliance countries.
In an interview with Jeune Afrique, the airline’s CEO, Anne Rigail, confirmed this strategic move. Rigail emphasized that Mali is an important market for Air France and stated that the resumption of flights will depend on the approval of local authorities, indicating that negotiations may take some time.
