Turkish football club Galatasaray clinched the 2025-26 Turkish Süper Lig crown on Saturday with one match left in the season, securing a record 26th league championship.

Istanbul’s Galatasaray sealed the title with a 4-2 home victory over Antalyaspor, moving to 77 points and extending the gap over Fenerbahce, their fierce cross-town rivals, to four points.

The result guaranteed the club the championship crown before the final round of matches.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan congratulated Galatasaray in a post on social media following the title victory.

“I sincerely congratulate Galatasaray, who became Trendyol Süper Lig champions for the fourth consecutive time, including its players, technical staff, management and supporters,” Erdogan said on the Turkish social media platform NSosyal.
