South Africa takes a break before resuming the Women’s T20 Series, with all-rounder Marizanne Kapp set to join the team.

Before continuing the Women’s T20 series, South Africa has decided to rest all-rounder Marizanne Kapp. The World Cup finalists from the previous year will first play a three-match ODI and T20 series, followed by a single Test match.

Schedule:

  • Sunday, November 24 – 1st T20, East London (12:00)
  • Wednesday, November 27 – 2nd T20, Benoni (16:00)
  • Saturday, November 30 – 3rd T20, Centurion (16:00)
  • Wednesday, December 4 – 1st ODI, Kimberley (12:00)
  • Sunday, December 8 – 2nd ODI, Durban (08:00)
  • Wednesday, December 11 – 3rd ODI, Potchefstroom (12:00)
  • Sunday, December 15 – Only Test, Bloemfontein (08:30)

At 34 years old, Kapp will be available for the ODI matches but will be rested for the T20 matches. The Test squad has not yet been announced. This T20 series against England will be South Africa’s first since their World Cup final loss to New Zealand last month.

All-rounders Eliz-Mari Marx, Nondumiso Shangase, and Faye Tunnicliffe will be part of the T20 series against England. The squads for the England series are as follows:
