The Niger Football Federation (FENIFOOT) has signed a partnership agreement with Radio Télévision du Niger (RTN) for the live broadcast of the 2024-2025 season of the Super League matches.
During the signing ceremony, RTN General Director Abdoulaye Coulibaly and FENIFOOT President Colonel Major Djibrilla Hima Hamidou, along with representatives from both institutions, were present.
Abdoulaye Coulibaly highlighted that this agreement represents a long-awaited win-win partnership, expressing his hopes that it would be beneficial and fruitful for both sides. He also called on other sports federations to follow FENIFOOT’s example to help develop sports in Niger.
FENIFOOT President Colonel Major Djibrilla Hima Hamidou stated that this partnership will allow Nigeriens to follow live broadcasts of the Super League matches. He emphasized that this visibility would help increase the recognition of Nigerien football and create additional financial resources.
The opening match of the 2024-2025 Super League season will take place on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at the General Seyni Kountché Stadium in Niamey, where Sahel Sports Club will face Liberté Football Club. A total of 16 teams will compete in this prestigious season.
