The Daniel Brottier private Catholic school in Thiès celebrated a healthy nutrition day on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.
The event is the result of a partnership launched in 2022 between private primary schools and the NGO RIKOLTO, led by Ms. Anne Catherine Kane, focal point in Senegal, and Mr. Pierre Khar Tine, responsible for the project and also the Principal of the school. The pilot school, Daniel Brottier, has been able to promote healthy nutrition within its community and through students and families for years. The presence of the authorities was very noticeable. In particular, the representative of the Belgian ambassador to Senegal, the International Executive Director of RIKOLTO, the Regional Director for Africa, representatives of East and West African countries and representatives of Latin American countries.
