German analysis company Statista listed the most visited cities in the world last year based on data from Euromonitor International.
Istanbul became the most visited city in the world in 2023. The number of visitors to Istanbul increased by 26 percent compared to 2022. There was another city from Turkey in the top 5 of the list.
