According to a statement from the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB), on December 31, Ankara call center 153, Ankara Fire Brigade, and the Health Affairs Department will operate on a 24-hour basis.
Public transportation services have also been adjusted for New Year’s Eve. Accordingly, the metro and Ankaray will operate until 02:30 on the night of December 31, transitioning into January 1, while the integrated ring lines with the rail system will make additional trips until 03:00.
EGO buses will operate until 05:00 with 109 night services across 29 routes. Additionally, extra bus and train services will be provided based on passenger demand.
ASKİ General Directorate teams will be on duty with 350 personnel and 120 vehicles on New Year’s Eve. Citizens can report complaints and requests by calling “0312 616 10 00”. Moreover, on the official holiday of January 1, Wednesday, ASKİ will provide card-based water sales and bill payment services from 08:00 to 16:30.
ABB’s municipal police teams will conduct inspections at food establishments and entertainment venues throughout New Year’s Eve to ensure public health.
