Belarus companies specializing in the production of trucks, tractors, agricultural equipment, and silos are preparing to establish themselves in North Africa, particularly in Egypt.

The Deputy Prime Minister of Egypt and the First Deputy Minister of Industry of Belarus, Alexander Agorodnikov, met with the delegations of the relevant companies. The discussions focused on the production of these equipment in Egypt.

Encouraged by President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, Egypt is implementing an extensive plan to transform the country into an industrial hub. As part of this plan, with the contributions of Belarusian companies, trucks, agricultural tractors, and excavation equipment will be produced locally for the Egyptian market. This production aims to offer competitive products in both local and international markets.

Additionally, a logistics center project for the trade and processing of grains is also underway. This center will facilitate the import, processing, and marketing of grain products, with the goal of boosting exports to Arab and African markets.

The cooperation between Egypt and Belarus aims to increase trade and strengthen economic ties. Both countries plan to improve the trade balance by removing barriers in banking transactions and transfers. Belarus will export agricultural tractors, vehicles, and machinery to Egypt, while Egypt will offer pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and textiles to the Belarusian market.
