“WE WILL ADDRESS THE WORLD FROM THE PAVILION OF TURKEY”

Ufuk Bilgetekin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of TÖDEB, said: “Money 20/20 Fair is the first international fair we attended as TÖDEB. We took the first step at the biggest fair in Europe and received very positive reactions. This year we will be represented with 20 members in a much larger area. It is very important for us to be here, to be one of the biggest participants in an event where the eyes of the whole world are on us. The Turkish pavilion we established in Amsterdam is a show of strength for both us and our industry. We came here following the demand of our members, the goals of our country and the development of our sector.”

“EUROPE IS ALWAYS OUR BUSINESS PARTNER”

Bilgetekin said, “We should not see Money 20/20 Europe as just a European fair. This is where the heart of the fintech industry beats. This is an area where collaborations are made, signatures are signed and the future is shaped. Europe is a natural trade partner for both our country and our members. It is also our gateway to the world due to the harmonization in regulations. For these reasons, being at Money 20/20 Europe Fair is valuable and valuable for the Turkish payment and electronic money sector. It is also important that this event is a national participation with the support of our Ministry of Trade. We are proud to be represented under the flag of our country at the Turkey Pavilion. I would like to express my gratitude to our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, our Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, our Central Bank Governor Fatih Karahan and our Presidential Finance Office President Göksel Aşan for their support during this endeavor. With their pioneering support and the efforts of our members, we will make our industry the star of Europe.”
