At the Turkish Flavors Reception in New York, foreign guests had the opportunity to taste various products from Turkish cuisine.
The reception, held at the Turkish House in New York, was attended by Ahmet Yıldız, Turkey’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations (UN) and Reyhan Özgür, Consul General of Turkey in New York, as well as food industry representatives, business people and diplomats from other countries.

At the reception organized to increase food exports from Turkey to the US, Turkish Cuisine Week was celebrated and Turkish cuisine was served to the guests.
Turkish grain, olive oil, fruit and vegetable and seafood producers answered questions from the guests.

In addition, world-renowned chefs Tom J. Macrina, Reimund Pitz and Greg Matchett, who are known as “Turkish Flavor Ambassadors”, gave detailed information to the guests about the process from the cultivation of Turkish food products to their preparation and presentation.
