Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates, by developing their relations which have seen significant growth in bilateral trade, renewed their commitment to strengthening trade and economic cooperation.

Zimbabwe and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening trade and economic cooperation by further developing their relations, which have seen significant growth in bilateral trade.

During the UAE’s 53rd National Day celebrations on Monday in Harare, UAE Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Dr. Jassim Al Quassimi, highlighted the importance of economic diplomacy and outlined plans to explore further cooperation, particularly in the field of education. “We are committed to expanding our cooperation and building a brighter future for our people,” he said.

Zimbabwe’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Professor Amon Murwira, emphasized the strong political and diplomatic ties supporting trade between the two countries. “We aim to develop our trade and finalize partnerships to further improve trade between our nations,” he stated.

The UAE is Zimbabwe’s second-largest trading partner, with expanding collaborations in trade, investment, education, culture, and tourism. Both countries expressed their determination to continue these efforts for mutual benefit.
