Mahinur Ozdemir Goktas announced that the government is continuing to strengthen its support for children by focusing on their different needs and well-being.
She emphasized that growing up in a family environment is very important for protecting social values and helping children develop in a healthy way. Through the Social and Economic Support program, the ministry helps children stay with their families while also supporting them in their daily lives and education.
Göktaş explained that the goal is to ensure children grow up as educated, confident, and healthy individuals in safe and loving homes. As part of this effort, the ministry has transferred 1.827 billion Turkish lira for April to families in need.
This financial support is meant to reduce inequality, improve access to education, and give every child a better chance at a stable future.
